ALRIGHT, I'M SORRY!

As some of you were eating with me at lunch, the Knitting Club came to mind as I remembered that I forgot my knitting bag (at the same time as many others remembered they forgot theirs). Hey, it's the first week after (basically) three weeks off. I think it's okay that we forgot.

Alors, we will meet NEXT THURSDAY for sure. Lawrence's room. Last one there is a rotten egg.

Also, would any of you like you volunteer to become Vice President or secretary (manage the blog!) or something like that of the club? It'd be a good chance to get to know the people better, and assume a leadership role for practice when you begin to run a Fortune 500 company (haaa). Anyway, if you're interested, let me know!!

See you then mannnnn.

Snow?

Is anyone willing to donate their knitting to the Christmas Market? Just thought I'd ask.

Also, our room was locked today (Thursday)! As we all know, quiet at IBS is few and far between. However, do you guys want to try tomorrow (Friday)? Maybe during lunch?

Suggestions? Guys I really want to know what you think! I can't carry this club on my own. I've said it before-- all of us can knit individually. The difference between that, and being a club is communication.

KNITTING CLUB THIS THURSDAY!

We will resume with our scarves and hats! Anyone having any problems? Found any solutions? Louise came to a realization when Julie was knitting her hat, that because on round needles we don't flip the side over, there is a different pattern created. I believe Amanda will be trying out the round technique soon with a scarf.

See you then. And MEGAN, thanks for the comments! ;]

To my dear wooly sheep!

(Ha-- title kudos to Taibai)

This Thursday is, as you know, exams. Although having knitting club would be easy because it's in our lunch break, I think that everyone will be exhausted mentally (and from sitting all those hours) and should spend their time individually.

That being said, formally the knitting club will NOT meet this Thursday, but if you would like to get together and knit that is more than cool. :)

BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR EXAMS! Don't stress yourselves out!

P.S.: COMMENT AND TELL ME WHICH PICTURE WE WANT TO USE FOR THE ARTICLE. IT'S DUE AT THE END OF THIS WEEK!

Hooray!

First, again, I am really sorry that I turned up late to the group. However, the fact that you guys met really rocks, and shows that there's more people interested in this than just me. Keep it up! Those who were knitting, your knitting has really come along. I'm always here for questions, and so is Madame Balandier-Brown (she probably knows a lot more technicalities than I do, to be honest).

Alright, so remember the article that is going into the IBS publication. COMMENT and let me know what you guys want to see in it-- this is OUR club. Franziska looks so pretty in the picture of just her!!

Also... does anyone else feel like maybe we should talk as a group? With a group of girls, of course we aren't just going to be friends right away. But there's no point in having a club if there's animosity and people aren't open-- people could just knit on their own. A club is about being able to share, growing together as a group, and doing what we want free of judgment. So maybe this next week we could have an open discussion, or at least the boarders could get together on Friday to talk? Let me know what you think.

Well that was awesome

Last Thursday went pretty well, huh? I'm pretty sure we all got started on at least casting on. Next week EVERYONE should have their own yarn (and if possible, needles). If you're buying needles they should be around 9.0mm or bigger, and buy big fluffy yarn to make a cozy scarf.

Also, any music suggestions for next week? Any suggestions at all?

See you Thursday at 1:30!

KNITTING THURSDAY!

Sorry, posting this a bit late, but there is knitting this Thursday the 13th in Mrs. Lawrence's room at 1:30!

I hope you all have your yarn. I can loan needles out, but I'll be writing names down for who's borrowing them (and also Mrs. Lawrence's). If you borrow, please don't lose or break them!

I'm bringing my camera. This will be freaking awesome. Who's ready to make a scarf? Do we think we can make anything for the Christmas market?

P.S.-- God, this internet SUCKS.
