We are going to have little contests on the blog now and again, and this one calls for all artists.
Now all of us have a little artsy side. Let's pull it out and put it to good use! This website needs a banner. We need any art media (photo, drawing, painting, photoshop graphics, etc) that can be scanned and sent to kcvonmoses@yahoo.com to headline our spiffy webpage!
The design is where it says "Windfall Knitting" right now. That rectangular box can fit whatever size your piece needs to be. Therefore the piece of art will always come up when anyone (including visitors) come to the page!
Here's What's Up:
Anyone can email their art now until January 5th. The art doesn't have to be a huge acrylic project-- it can be scribbles, a comic, a skein of yarn-- anything! It just has to be scannable to be emailed to kcvonmoses@yahoo.com and any member of the OWC can (and is encouraged to) submit!
Once the submissions deadline is over, we will post another blog displaying all of the submissions, and everyone will take a vote on them via comments or a poll (that can be set up) to determine which design will be our banner!
The contest will be anonymous to encourage anyone to enter, letting only the administrators know who the artist is. The artist chosen will have the choice to have their name announced, on the art piece, or next to it if decided.
Nothing risque, too huge, too nude, or too... well, you get it. We are a knitting and baking club, so the piece should have that sort of theme.

Looks like no one's interested in the art competition. Thought it'd be a winner since we go to an arts school!!
