Who wants to... you know.. reunit?! I CERTAINLY DO! I would like to know if you guys actually read the blog or no. You don't need a sign in name to comment, so please comment if you've read the posts!
- How is everyone's schedules these days? If it still works for everyone, knitting on Tuesday will resume. Every Tuesday after school, Shades. Please let me know any work conflictions, appointments, or bad scheduling. This group is about everyone being able to participate!
- Baking every other Thursday again? I need to know what you guys think about this. GWYN, sugar cookies are definitely in season. :]
PROBABLY the most important announcement (kind of wordy, but PLEASE READ):
- Mary Gilliam and myself have decided to do a fundraising festival for TSAS students that are traveling this summer. We have named the "poor" travelers the TIN CAN TRAVELERS! Anyone, any trip, and sort of traveling that needs money can participate.
-The TCTFMF (Tin Can Travelers Flea Market Festival) will be a big Tulsa event (fliers are going everywhere) and will be in Mary's (very big) yard. It is a benefit show including live music performances, and sales of all sorts: art, food, Vintage clothes, garage sale, trinkets, handmade things, miscellaneous flare, etc.
We are looking for other student who may want a booth at the show. You get to keep whatever profits your individual booth makes-- the only time someone doesn't is if they don't go to TSAS and have a booth (people want to sell their pottery and art too at this thing!).
LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT A BOOTH TO RUN WITH FRIENDS, OR BY YOURSELF. ANYTHING CAN BE SOLD!!
Also, there will be tin cans everywhere for donation buckets. Those donations buckets go specifically to Mary and my own backpacking trip, but it's a very benefit-oriented festival!
- That being said, the Old Women's Club will have a booth there! We'll be having a bake sale (one of the easiest profits) and selling little potted flowers that the pots have been painted on by us. We need money to buy needles, yarn, and cooking/baking supplies!
I know it was long, but I hope you read all of it, everyone!
Have a great rest of the week, and SNOWBALL!!!!!
Karen
