Hats today went great! Hopefully we can keep working on them next week, because I know we only got started today.
Thanks to everyone for coming. Maybe, next week, in honor of spring and such, we could meet and cook? And knit, of course. Just have some Mac n Cheese at a park while we knit. Something. If you guys have ideas, just comment.
See everybody tomorrow!

Hey, if someone -cough- didn't bring their needles last week, and didn't get to start a hat, what's the main thing we have to start knitting... like how many cast ons, what size needles, and how long do we knit for... that way we aren't wasting time tomorrow!
TOMORROW, TOMORROW! HOORAY!
Ah, well. It depends on the size needles how many cast ons. It's all up to you, my dear. Absolutely your own art. But, I'd suggest about 16-ish inches when the cast ons are appropiately spaced (not to squashed together, not too stretched apart). And then, knit however you'd like (ribbed, seed, whatever) until you have a rectangle about as wide as your hand is. It will be a good start!
